elasto has been a successful independent family business since 1980, and is now managed by the second generation. To this day, the company remains true to its motto, "Thinking and developing for the future", supported by a cutting-edge technology centre with its own tool and mould shop, as well as professional quality controls through modern testing, and a feel for new trends.

Brand for protective items
It all began with a brilliant idea and a common vision: in 1980, the company started out small before quickly growing to become a global player within the following decades. In their garage in Hersbruck, married couple Gerhard and Hertha Sperber founded the family business elasto form. The company initially began by printing foam balls and producing family tennis game sets. With increasing success, the product range also grew: in order to meet growing demand, the range was expanded to include promotional items from a wide variety of areas.
The foundation for mutual success was laid, and in 1987 the company expanded. The present premises - with production and storage facilities - opened in Sulzbach-Rosenberg. The company's own plastic injection moulding shop and print shop were also built, representing leaps forward for the company. From now on, special designs and individual finishes according to customer requirements could also be implemented. Remaining true to its own vision, elasto form constantly evolved to keep in line with market developments, following current trends and using them to develop a dynamic corporate concept. In 2003, the technology centre in Hohenstadt opened. With the help of in-house mould construction and tool making, customer requirements could be met even more individually.
A planned generational change: when the company was renamed elasto form KG in 2004, the two sons of the founding couple joined the family business. Marcus Sperber and Frank Sperber were initially appointed as limited partners and took over the management of the company in 2013.
From this point onwards, Gerhard Sperber took a back seat and left the management of the family business to his two sons. At the same time, he continued to support them with his many years of experience, acting as an advisor to the management.
Future-oriented and looking ahead: 2021 saw the company rebrand to elasto GmbH & Co. KG. Elasto's mission statement is still informed by the company's original concept for success: a high-performance combination of "Made in Germany" production and global sourcing - supported by a corporate philosophy that foregrounds environmental concerns.
With strong local links and acting sustainably, the company today employs around 330 people at 8 locations worldwide. It also serves a wide-ranging national and international clientele.
